This build it created in 3 parts. The body and the 2 arms.

I began by building the body. I laid the foundation out on my nanoblock pad.

I built the body in layers. Each layer took 2-3 steps to complete. As I got to the top of the body, it was important to keep track of which slanty pieces I was using.

The layers added the mouth, eyes, and coin on top of the head. Keeping the spines along Gengar’s lined up was a bit tricky.

The next step was to build the two arms that would connect the hands to the body.

Then I built the two hands. They are mirrors of each other. Each hand was fairly straightforward.

Once I finished each hand, I attached the arm to the hand.

The final step is to attach the arms to the body.

Things I liked:

  • I like that the final build is solid with connection points between the body and the hands

Things I didn’t like:

  • I got confused about which slanty pieces to use at some points. This meant I had to take things apart and rebuild. I’m not sure that the variation of slanty pieces adds to the final look of the build
